The Strategy
I built the business as a multi-revenue, community-centered space:

• Play café model combining retail, programming, and food service

• Messy art studio and educational activities to encourage repeat visits

• Events and classes to diversify income

• Partnerships with local businesses to expand reach and revenue

Execution

I led every aspect of the business, including:

• Crowdfunding startup capital

• Branding and concept development

• Securing rental space and designing the interior layout

• Purchasing equipment and sourcing inventory

• Coordinating vendors and service providers

• Creating original educational programs and events

• Managing daily operations and in-person customer experience

• Running social media and marketing

• Developing sponsorship opportunities (“Sponsor a Day”) for small businesses

• Hiring, training, and managing staff
